Programme Overview

SNS College of Engineering offers B.E. in six disciplines and B.Tech in Information Technology. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to any of these programs is passing 10+2 or an equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics combined. Selection of candidates for admission purpose is done on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the last qualifying exam, which is sorted through TNEA single window counselling.

Key Points for Admission:

Only candidates who are native to Tamil Nadu are eligible for TNEA counselling. Other state candidates are required to take the CET held by the instituteas consortium.

For admission through lateral entry, candidates are required to score at least 55% average marks in the pre-final and final semester.

The minimum marks eligibility criteria for SC/ST/MBC candidates is 40% in PCM in 10+2 level exam.

Relaxation of 5% is given to BC candidates in qualifying exam.

Admission Criteria

Applications with Credentials & Corporate Nominations – Selections will be based on a detailed profile of the candidate in his own words, elaborating on his academic record, profile, designation, salary, roles, responsibilities, job description, and a write-up on “Expectations from the Programme”.

Eligibility & Selection

Working executives who are graduates (10+2+3 or equivalent) in any discipline with 50% marks, with an experience profile of at least five years after graduation are eligible. Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of assessment of educational and professional background and motivation based on the application form submitted.

Assessment Methodology

Participants are assessed on the basis of online interaction, case discussions, exercises & presentations, group assignments, written tests, online exams and attendance criteria fulfillment. Participants will be awarded certificate of completion in Strategic Management from IIM Ahmedabad at the end of the Programme.
